YOUTH LEAGUES

SoccerCity offers competitive leagues for premier and intermediate teams, as well as recreational teams. Player numbers (including the goalkeeper) are defined below by age group:

  • U6, U7 teams play 4v4 on small fields
  • Teams U8, U9, U10 play 4v4 on small fields or 7v7 on the large fields
  • U11, U12 teams play 3v3 on the small fields or 7v7 on the large fields
  • Teams U13 and above play 3v3 on the small fields or 6v6 on the large fields

*Each player must complete an individual youth registration form and must have a liability waiver on file to play in any league. In addition, each team is responsible for paying the referee $9 per game.

ADULT LEAGUES

Men’s Leagues will play 6v6 including a goalkeeper while Women and Coed Leagues will play 7v7. Teams are assigned to leagues based on their skill level and desired level of competition. Adult skill levels are designated by A, B, C, D and E and are defined below:

  • A-level Teams are the highest level and are very competitive. These teams often have individuals with collegiate or professional playing experience.
  • B-level Teams are moderately competitive. B-level players have collegiate experience or competitive club experience.
  • C-level Teams are semi-recreational. C-level players have typically played in high school and continued playing recreationally.
  • D-level Teams are recreational. D-level players have recreational playing experience.
  • E-level Teams are beginners. E-level players are beginners or those with little to no soccer playing experience.
  • There should be no collegiate or competitive players playing in the
    D or E divisions. NO EXCEPTIONS!
